AMI carries full Mozambican, Swaziland, Zambian and Angolan Civil Aviation Authority approval, and is quickly becoming Southern Africa’s one-stop maintenance organisation. Furthermore, we have in-house FAA Airframe and Powerplant and Inspection Authorisation approved personnel for maintenance and annual inspections on US-registered aircraft based throughout Africa.
The company was started in 1987 by Willie Breytenbach. He has been in the industry for over 30 years, and is also an aircraft test pilot on both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. He is therefore able to do test flights after maintenance and also understands the client pilots’ needs and expectations. This results in Breytech being well suited to providing a professional service that takes into account the clients’ specific, personal needs.
Breytech maintains Robinson R22 and R44 Helicopters, as well as Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft, Aerostar, Mooney and Cirrus fixed wing aircraft.
As the sole Authorized “Excellent Service Centre “in Africa for Leonardo Helicopters, the primary responsibility of Precision Aviation Services (PAS) is, the service, maintenance and repair of AgustaWestland Helicopters in the subcontinent.
Our capabilities also extend to Robinson, Sikorsky, Bell and McDonnell Douglas.
Established at Wonderboom Airport in 1993 by MD Riks Hulleman, PAS operates from a state-of-the-art, dedicated Helicopter Service Facility built around the specifications of the entire Augusta Westland helicopters range, including the 6,5-ton AW139.
PAS further expanded its services to the helicopter fraternity, both corporate and civilian, with the incorporation of a Flying School, and today, with a staff complement exceeding 35, including 11 licensed technicians, counting avionics and structural engineers. PAS offers a full-spectrum service to Owners and Pilots in Sub-Saharan Africa.
PAS’s motto is “Excellence comes Standard”, which encapsulates the ethos of the business.
